The EU4ART European University is a collaborative effort between four higher education institutions focused on fine arts: the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in Budapest, the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts, the Academy of Fine Arts of Rome, and the Art Academy of Latvia in Riga. The aim of the EU4ART_differences project is to develop the research profiles of the four partners, to create a culture of excellence in arts research, and to enhance academic excellence while further strengthening the cooperation between the four institutions.  Throughout an intensive communication and cooperation process each institution developed its own LAB profile adjusted to local contexts and concepts.

This publication aims to summarise the Present, Development, Future, Output and Sustainability of the LABs established in five chapters. Due to the nature of the research, the publication also contains experimental elements: the four-colour printing process involved changing cyan to a direct blue colour, which tipped the photographs towards a purplish, bluish hue.
